A pair of Chinese archaistic brown patinated bronze hu vases, Ming dynasty, each pear-form body cast with panels of taotie on a keyfret ground, the slender neck flanked by a pair of dragon mask and tongue loose ring handles, on oval bases, height 33.2cm (one with small missing section of footrim).
