A large Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vase, mid-19th century, the swollen cylindrical body and flared neck painted and gilt with variously shaped figural panels reserved against a ground of flowers, butterflies and precious objects, the neck applied with a pair of gilt Buddhistic lion and cub handles above similarly applied chilong to shoulders, height 63.5cm (restoration to rim).
