A Japanese Satsuma earthenware bowl by Kanzan, Meiji period, of circular form with shaped rim, the interior painted and gilt with a figural scene of gods and children, all beneath a border of red-capped cranes, the exterior with a band of dense flowers, gilt and black signature to base, diameter 15.5cm, together with a Satsuma earthenware vase, Meiji period, painted with figures, height 12.1cm.
