A mid-19th century Italian Renaissance Revival walnut and floral marquetry circular centre table, attributed to the Falcini brothers, the top finely inlaid in boxwood, ivory and mother-of-pearl with flowers, within borders of rosewood crossbanding, the baluster stem carved with a berried laurel leaf knop and raised on fruit and mask decorated tripod legs, height 75cm, diameter 68cm. Note: Luigi and Angelo Falcini founded the Falcini Workshops in Florence and are renowned for their exquisite marquetry furniture. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
