A pair of late 18th century French silver candlesticks, each with detachable nozzle above an urn shaped sconce and square tapering stem, each side of capital with a female bust, on a circular foot decorated with swans and roundels, various marks for Paris and maker's mark DG, total weight 814.8g, height 28.5cm.
