A group of four early 19th century British provincial banknotes, comprising Tonbridge New Bank five pounds for Thos. Mercer, Jno. Barlow & Co, 23rd September 1813, Tonbridge New Bank one pound for Thos. Mercer, Jno. Barlow & Co, 27th August 1813, Kentish Bank one pound for Penfold, Springet & Penfold, 26th December 1814, and Chatham Bank one pound for Samuel Ferrand Waddington & Co, 9th July 1804 (all soiled and distressed).
