A Chinese famille rose Mandarin palette export porcelain punch bowl, Qianlong period, the exterior painted with opposing figural panels reserved against trellis and 'Y' diaper borders, the interior with flowers, height 12.7cm, diameter 31cm (repaired). Provenance: from the estate of the late Nigel Pollitzer, adopted son of multimillionaire George Pollitzer and his wife Esme and former friend of Sarah, Duchess of York.
