LOT 1905
Seven assorted plain stem wines, mid-18th century, each with folded conical foot, including an example with ogee bowl, height 14.5cm, one with large bell bowl, height 17cm, and a drawn trumpet bowl with teared stem, height 14.3cm (minor chip to one bowl), together with a pair of short ale glasses, mid-18th century, the wrythen moulded funnel bowls above two flattened knops and conical feet, height 14cm, four other ale glasses, including one engraved with hops and barley, height 12cm, and one with faceted stem, height 14cm (chips to foot), and a pair of jelly glasses of rib-moulded form, height 11.5cm. Provenance: Arthur Henry Green, a private collector from Enfield, died 1953. Thence by descent.
