A fine Royal Crown Derby two-handled vase and cover, dated 1909, painted by A. Gregory, signed, with a large floral panel opposing a similar smaller panel, framed by elaborate tooled and 'jewelled' gilding against a cobalt blue ground, the neck with green glazed detail similarly gilt and 'jewelled', flanked by gilt scroll handles with foliate terminals, the waisted stem, circular foot and square base with 'jewelled' gilding, the domed cover with acanthus fruit finial and cobalt blue and green glazed gilt overlaid and 'jewelled' panels, red printed factory marks, height 35cm.
