A Ronnie Fulton studio pottery and wood sculpture, titled 'Ellen's Party', dated February 2005, modelled as a sailing boat filled with two dancing couples and two musicians, atop a wavy sea, resting on a rectangular wooden base, impressed signature mark and incised date, overall height 41cm, with accompanying letter signed by the potter detailing his inspiration for the piece. Note: This particular piece was made to celebrate the homecoming of the solo long-distance yachtswoman Ellen McArthur after her successful record breaking circumnavigation of the globe in 2005.
