A 19th century French vernis Martin lacquered box of oval section, decorated with a reserve panel of a young couple, the lid with white metal rim, length 9.2cm, together with a 19th century gilt metal and mother-of-pearl aide-mémoire, the interior with 1821 printed calendar, length 5.7cm.
