A Victorian gold and agate intaglio ring, the shield shaped intaglio carved with a portrait below motto 'Duris Non Frangor' (I am not disheartened by difficulties), mounted to a hinged locket compartment, with engraved decoration to the shoulders, unmarked, weight 4.1g, ring size approx L1/2.
