A George II Scottish silver cream boat and matching circular sugar bowl, crest engraved with a fish beneath a motto 'Expecto Meliora', each with floral and foliate engraved rim, above stylized fleur-de-lis shouldered scroll legs terminating in paw feet, Edinburgh 1746 by Robert Low, with Hugh Gordon Assay Masters mark, total weight 435.5g, length of cream boat 17.3cm.
