John Speed – ‘Bedford Shire and the Situation of Bedford described with the armes of thos Honorable Familyes that have borne ye titles of Dukes and Earls thereof’ (Map of the County of Bedfordshire), 17th century engraving with later hand-colouring on laid paper, 41.5cm x 55cm, within a Hogarth style frame, together with two maps of Bedfordshire, one by Richard Blome and the other by Robert Morden.
