Title in red and black with large engraved vignette, text in Latin and Italian, historiated initial to dedication, 224 engraved illustrations in the text and 6 full-page engraved plates, one preceding each play, 4pp. ‘Index’ to rear. (Toning, Cc3 and Qq4 with short marginal tears, text unaffected, occasional browning.) Original boards (lacking spine, worn). Provenance: Kelravock (ink name to initial blank).
