Numerous recipes in a single legible hand, often dated and placed, mostly at ‘140, Buchanan Street, Glasgow’. (Toning, occasional crease.) Original black wrappers (lightly rubbed, minor discolouring). Note: many of the recipes are for soups or deserts, puddings and short-breads, so very likely a recipe book for a café on one of the busiest roads in central Glasgow. Provenance: Catherine M.
