Worthing: William Phillips, 1814. 2 vols., second edition, 8vo (171 x 112mm.) Half-titles, 1 folding engraved frontispiece, 1 engraved hand-coloured frontispiece, folding plan. (Toning, offsetting to titles.) 20th century calf-backed boards, green morocco lettering pieces to the spines (endpapers replaced, fading to spines). – And two related volumes (the first edition of John Evans’ ‘Picture of Worthing’, 1805, 8vo, and Walter Goodyer Barker’s ‘On the Climate of Worthing: Its Remedial Influence in Disease, Especially of the Lungs’, 1867, 8vo) (4).
