Limited edition, this being one of 500 copies only, large 8vo (286 x 195mm.) 26 colour plates after George Cruikshank, tissue-guards. (Half-title heavily spotted, light scattered spotting thereafter, uncut leaves.) Original brown half morocco (some spotting to margins of covers), dust-jacket (spine sunned, some loss to spine panel, tape repairs verso). – And a further eighteen volumes relating to Charles Dickens (including Kyd’s [Joseph Clayton Clarke] ‘The Characters of Charles Dickens’, [1890], 4to) (19).
