First edition, 8vo (213 x 134mm.) 94 engraved plates. (First two and last plates heavily spotted, thereafter light to moderate spotting to all plates.) Contemporary half calf, red morocco lettering piece to the spine (extremities rubbed). – And a further seven related volumes (including F.O. Morris’ ‘A Natural History of British Moths’, 4 vols., 1872, 8vo) (8).
