A mid-18th century pinchbeck medal commemorating the Battle of Cartagena 1741, obverse with Admiral Edward Vernon and Rear-Admiral Sir Chaloner Ogle standing, reverse with two ships entering Cartagena harbour, diameter 37mm (good/very fine for issue, some patchy toning). Provenance: purchased from Timothy Millett Ltd 14.12.06.
