LOT 3183
A rare small late 17th century silver medal commemorating the accession of James II 1685, probably by Christian Wermuth, obverse with almost facing bewigged bust, reverse with brazier burning upon altar, diameter 17mm, weight 3g (extremely fine with old cabinet tone and lustrous fields), with an old ink-written collector's ticket. Provenance: the collection of the late Robert Pearce of Normanton Hall, Normanton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
