A late 17th century silver medal by J. Roettiers commemorating British Colonization 1670, obverse with conjoined busts of Charles II and Catherine facing right, reverse with globe, Eimer 245, diameter 42mm, weight 31.9g (fine, toned), with an old ink-written collector's ticket. Provenance: the collection of the late Robert Pearce of Normanton Hall, Normanton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
