An Edward VI crown 1551, third period, fine issue, mintmark Y, obverse with Edward on horseback above date, reverse with shield on cross, S2478 (very fine with old cabinet tone), with original approval invoice from B.A. Seaby Ltd, dated 6th March 1946, for £9. Provenance: the collection of the late Robert Pearce of Normanton Hall, Normanton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
