A gold backed, silver set, diamond, sapphire and seed pearl brooch, last quarter 19th century, mounted with a rose cut diamond within a seed pearl surround, otherwise mounted with cushion shaped sapphires, unmarked, weight 13.8g, width 5.1cm (one seed pearl lacking).
