A Portuguese silver mounted cut glass claret jug of tapering cylindrical form, the hinged lid collar and spout decorated in relief with daisies, scrolling leaves and tendrils, flanked by a scrolling tendril handle, the body engraved with stems of daisies and leaves, assay mark for Porto by Ferreira Marques & Irmao of Topazio, height 33.5cm.
