A Chinese famille rose export porcelain teapot and cover, Yongzheng period, of ovoid form, finely painted with a mythical scene of a maiden riding a deer above waves, the reverse with a maiden carrying a flower basket above waves, divided by vapours, beneath pink cell diaper borders, height 11.2cm, bearing 'Roy Davids Collection' paper label (chip to spout and crack to handle).
