Caroline Frances Jane Armstrong [Carr Armstrong] – Landscape Studies, six early 20th century oils on board, four signed recto, each 13.5cm x 21cm, all within ebonized frames, three within a glazed case with labels verso. Note: Caroline Armstrong (1845-1937) studied painting at the Royal Academy Schools in 1881. She went on to exhibit several times at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions as well as at the Doré Gallery and was elected a member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers.
