A pair of short ale glasses, mid 18th century, the wrythen moulded funnel bowls above two flattened knops and conical feet, height 14cm, together with four other ale glasses, including one engraved with hops and barley, height 12cm, and one with faceted stem, height 14cm (chips to foot), and a pair of jelly glasses of rib-moulded form, height 11.5cm. Provenance: Arthur Henry Green, a private collector from Enfield, died 1953. Thence by descent.
