LOT 1942
A double series airtwist stem wine glass, circa 1760, the ogee bowl engraved with scroll framed trellis panels and flowers to the rim above basal flute moulding, the plain stem with a pair of corkscrews outside a subtle spiral cable, on a conical foot, height 15cm, together with two other engraved plain stem wines, shortest with a folded foot, 13cm and 12cm high. Provenance: Arthur Henry Green, a private collector from Enfield, died 1953. Thence by descent.
