LOT 1929
An engraved multiple-spiral airtwist stem wine glass, circa 1760, the rounded funnel bowl engraved with a band of hops to the rim, the stem with central vermicular collar, on a conical foot, height 16.8cm, together with a similar airtwist wine with vermicular collar stem and bell bowl, height 17cm. Provenance: Arthur Henry Green, a private collector from Enfield, died 1953. Thence by descent.
