LOT 1922
Five single series opaque twist stem wine glasses, circa 1760-70, including a plain stem example with basal flute moulded bowl above a pair of spiral gauze on a conical foot, height 15cm, and an example with basal moulded ogee bowl above a centrally knopped multiple spiral opaque twist, on a conical foot, height 15cm (minor faults). Provenance: Arthur Henry Green, a private collector from Enfield, died 1953. Thence by descent.
