LOT 1917
A pair of engraved double series opaque twist stem wine glasses, circa 1765, the rounded funnel bowls engraved with a six-petalled rose on a leafy stem with a bud, opposing the initials 'W:H', the plain stems with a pair of loose multi-ply corkscrews outside a pair of spiral threads, on conical feet, height 14.5cm. Provenance: Arthur Henry Green, a private collector from Enfield, died 1953. Thence by descent.
