Trevor Willougby – Nude Female Ballet Dancer, pencil, signed, inscribed and dated 1967, 54cm x 37cm, within a painted wood frame. Note: Trevor Willoughby was a painter, illustrator, and teacher, born in Hull, Yorkshire, in 1926. He studied at Belfast Technical College, Hull College of Art and London College of Printing, later teaching at Central St Martin’s, Sir John Cass Colleges of Art and Middlesex Polytechnic. Trevor exhibited at many of the principal London venues including the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, to which he was elected a member in 1970.
