(Toning, text-block cracked at title of vol. 1.) Original purple cloth, t.e.g. (spines of vols. 1 and 3 sunned, minor scuffing), dust-jackets to vols. 2 and 4 (spine ends chipped, browned, tear to spine panel of vol. 2). Provenance: from the estate of Trevor Hives, thence by descent (4).
