A Tibetan white metal mounted copper gau (portable shrine), late 19th century, the copper box of arched form, the white metal mounted front embossed with Buddhistic lion mask and emblems amidst scrolling foliage, framing a glazed aperture, height 12.1cm, the interior with gilt bronze Buddha, height 9.5cm.
