A Joan and David de Bethel Rye Pottery cat, dated 1989, with découpage figures, flowers and romantic motifs against a cream painted ground, the collar inscribed ‘The rose is red, the violet blue...’, inset with glass eyes, blue painted marks to base with numerals '1943', height 18cm.
