A Pablo Picasso white earthenware Two Dancers round/square plate, circa 1956, decorated in low relief with two figures against a black patinated ground, impressed to reverse 'MADOURA PLEIN FEU EMPREINTE ORIGINALE DE PICASSO', diameter 25cm. Note: a similar example is illustrated by Alain Ramie in 'Picasso - Catalogue of the edited ceramic works 1947-1971', p.197, pl.380. Here it notes 450 copies of this design were produced. Provenance: property of a Sussex private collector.
