An early Victorian silver equestrian trophy cup and cover of urn form, the domed cover surmounted by a figure of a horse above chased floral and foliate decoration, framed by a cast foliate scroll rim, the front relief decorated with a jockey on horseback opposing an engraved crest of a horse and tree, flanked by two bellflower and scroll handles, on a reeded knop stem and similarly decorated circular foot, London 1846 by John Samuel Hunt, weight 2699.6g, height 43cm.
