A Chinese porcelain rectangular plaque, 20th century, finely painted with a riverside landscape of boats, pavilions and trees nestled within mountains, lines of black text and red signature seal for Wang Xiaoting to upper left corner, 30cm x 52cm, framed. Note: Wang Xiaoting (1906-1970) was a renowned landscape artist, active throughout the founding of the People's Republic and its early years, before dying in the Cultural Revolution. He was the son of the well-known Republic ceramicist Wang Yeting.
