A Chinese blanc-de-Chine porcelain gu beaker vase, probably early 18th century, of flared cylindrical form, the neck applied with eight shou characters above a raised central band of the eight trigrams (Bagua), the lower section with blossoming prunus branches, height 24.8cm (minor faults). Note: for a similarly decorated beaker vase, see plate 53 of P.J. Donnelly's 'Blanc de Chine', 1969.
