A George III mahogany cased artist's box by R. Ackermann, 'Manufacturer of Superfine Watercolours to His Majesty', the lid with paper maker's label, width 22cm, together with another similar artist's box and a small 'Prize Colour Box for Tinting Mechanical or Architectural Working Drawings' by James Newman.
