LOT 66
Nat Long [Nathaniel John Long] — ‘The Silk Wrap’, early/mid-20th century etching with drypoint, signed, titled and editioned 19/75 in pencil, 21.5cm x 27.5cm, within an ebonized frame, together with two similar etchings by the same hand, ‘Youth’, and ‘The Song of Spring’. Note: Nat Long (1893-1955) studied at the Bournemouth School of Art and later worked as a graphic designer for Garrett & Atkinson and Birn Brothers amongst others. He served in the First World War with 1/4th Hants in India and Mesopotamia.
