A First World War period German infantry officer's sword by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie, Solingen, with single-edged fullered blade, blade length 81cm, black painted hilt with Prussian eagle crest and wire-bound composite grip, with black painted steel scabbard, together with a George V 1897 pattern officer's dress sword with dumbbell-section blade, blade length 83cm, with leather-covered scabbard.
