London: Bradbury, Evans, & Co., [1859-1860.] 4 vols., 8vo (241 x 153mm.) 4 additional titles, 218 colour nature-printed plates by Henry Bradbury, 1 uncoloured plate, illustrations in the text. (Plates loose in volumes 1 and 2 as gutta percha perishing, and a few loose in volumes 3 and 4, toning.) Original blue blind-stamped cloth, decorative gilt to upper covers and spine (4).
