LOT 1235
A late 19th/early 20th century French brass, onyx and champlevé enamel clock garniture, the four glass mantel clock with eight day movement striking hours and half hours on a gong, the backplate with stamped Japy Frères maker's mark, with mercury compensated pendulum, the circular enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, outer Arabic minutes and painted flower festoons, the bowfront case with bevelled glass panels, polychrome enamelled columns and bands, on cast toupie feet, height 33.5cm, flanked by a pair of matching urns, height 32cm (minor faults).
