A late 20th century French lacquered brass corniche cased calendar carriage alarm clock by L'Epee, the eight day movement striking and repeating on a gong, the enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, outer Arabic minutes and moonphase aperture above subsidiary day, alarm and date dials, inscribed 'Angelus', the backplate with stamped 'L'Epee' maker's mark, the glazed case with swing handle, on bracket feet, height 17.4cm, with winding key.
