A finely painted J. & L. Lobmeyr champagne glass, circa 1884, enamelled in Schwarzlot black after K. Salb, the shaped chamfered bowl with opposing full-length figures of knights in armour holding shields and swords, surrounded by elaborate gilt enriched foliate scrollwork, enamelled mark to base, height 12cm. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.
