LOT 2377
British or Irish School - a late 18th/early 19th century oval half-length portrait miniature of a lady wearing a white dress, watercolour on ivory, 4.5cm x 3.8cm, within a gilt metal frame, together with another near period copy of the same miniature within a red leather case, another pencil miniature of Lady Newport and a glazed photograph of a boy. Provenance: family descent from Lieutenant-General Paul Anderson to the current vendor. Formerly at Grace Dieu, Waterford. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
