A set of four George III silver gilt bachelor's teapots, each with slightly domed hinged lid and fruiting vine finial within a cast egg and dart rim, the squat circular body cast with a keyfret band and beaded borders above an engraved crest of a lion beneath a crown, on a circular foot, all London 1806 by Digby Scott & Benjamin Smith II, total weight 2360.5g, height of each 9cm, length of each 21cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
