A Chinese famille rose enamelled porcelain water coupe, mark of Hongxian and possibly of the period, of globular form, painted with a continuous scene of figures seated at a table beneath lanterns hanging from a blossoming prunus, iron red enamelled four-character mark to base, height 7.5cm, with carved hardwood stand.
